The story
The guy who never asks for anything
Chris is a craftsman out of Washington, Utah. He's the owner-operator behind Elite Custom Coatings, the shop known as 801ECC, painting custom helmets, hydro-dipping, and chroming parts that ship all over the country. He also runs CRC Foam, building custom-cut foam kits for boats, side-by-sides, and trailers. Self-made, self-employed, and the kind of guy whose motto is printed right on his profile: “How you do anything is how you do everything.”
What happened on June 27
On Saturday, June 27th, Chris suffered a fall in Panguitch that caused a burst fracture in his lower vertebrae and punctured his spinal cord. He was rushed by ambulance from Panguitch to St. George, underwent a laminectomy, and now has six screws in his spine. Today he's in the neuro-rehabilitation unit at Intermountain Health in St. George, relearning how to walk, with no release date yet.

In his own words
“If you know me, you know I'm a private person and don't like to talk about personal issues, but I've come to a point where I have no other options. This one fall took me from being able to provide for myself and my family to having to relearn how to walk. I don't have insurance, and the medical bills are piling up. My wife, Faith, has been by my side every day as my full-time caregiver.”
A self-employed tradesman who can't work has zero income. With Faith caregiving full time, the household has lost both. This isn't just about medical bills. It's about keeping a family afloat while Chris fights to get back on his feet.
